Dance Styles
Ballet
Dancers learn the basic ballet skills needed to properly execute dance movements.
Tap
Dancers learn how to create sounds with their feet and to stay on beat
Hip Hop
Dancers learn a variety of hip-hop styles of dance from street dance to jazz funk.
Lyrical/Contemporary
Dancers further enhance their ballet skills and learn to put emotions to music.
Jazz
Dancers work on their technique skills and learn styles of dance including broadway, fosse, etc.
Dress Code
Ballet: Flesh tone tights, solid colored leotard, flesh tone ballet slippers, hair in bun
Tap: leggings or flesh tone tights, t-shirt or solid colored leotard, solid colored black tap shoes, hair in ponytail or bun
Ballet/Tap Combo: Pink tights, solid colored leotard, pink ballet slippers, solid colored black tap shoes, hair in bun
Hip-Hop: Street clothes and sneakers
Lyrical/Contemporary: solid-colored leggings or shorts, bare feet or halfsole shoes, bra top, crop top, or tight-fitting shirt
Jazz: solid-colored leggings or shorts, black jazz shoes, bra top, crop top, or tight fitting shirts
